For the last 3 years my professional focus was SEO and since this whole concept is by itself data-driven, my purpose in life was circling around analysis of search data, organic visits, and alike. However, in the last year I have been moving more towards data gathering, manipulating and analysis.
Last year I started swimming in the R ocean where I started getting a tiny bit of insight into what might be possible once we roll up our sleeves and start learning things we never imagined we might need at some point. And my goal with these pages here is just that: to improve my own knowledge and by that also help foster a data-driven culture in the organizations I am working with (and for).
I guess the main idea behind it is to continue questioning myself and researching further even when it comes to something I am confident there is nothing more to it. There is always something more.
As someone passionate about use of data in every business I started Web Analytics community of Serbia, a Facebook group that currently gathers almost 200 people among which also the top minds in the region.
In addition to that, with my partner I run a Web Development and Digital Marketing agency, Upgrade, where we help small businesses improve their performance by utilizing internet and digital tools available.
And in addition to in-addition-to-that, with my own little project called Jeftin Odmor (Serbian for “cheap vacation”), in what’s left of the time during the day I am aiming to transform the way people in Serbia go for vacation by showing them that it might be cheaper to go to an exotic destination 4 thousand kilometers away than going to the same town in Montenegro every year.
